House of Lords Luncheon with Mr. Abdul Qureshi, CEO Head of Business Banking at Barclays UK

The Genesis Initiative hosted a luncheon at the House of Lords on 28th January last, at which Mr. Abdul Qureshi, CEO Head of Business Banking at Barclays UK, was the guest speaker.

Mr Qureshi touched on challenges and issues associated with small businesses access to bank finance and new SME initiatives at Barclays Business Banking, which currently serves over 1 million small businesses in the UK.

Lord Risby kindly acted as the Parliamentary sponsor for this Genesis Initiative lunch and the event was sponsored by the National Market Traders’ Federation (NMTF).

The NMTF represents around 25,000 traders in Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the NMTF provides business support, political representation, training programmes and unrivalled business insurance at no extra cost.
